Bridlington U3A - Allotments
We meet on Tuesday morning, weather permitting, but the allotment is available to members at any time 24/7. It is £10 to join (towards the rent etc.) then £1 per month.
We now have planted strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, rhubarb, asparagus and red currants. Our brassicas were badly affected by a plague of caterpillars. We have sown winter crops of rocket, broad beans, onions and garlic. Still lots of digging to do!
