Bridlington U3A - A Little More German
We German learners are a jolly lot, we decline the nouns and verbs and all
strive hard to be polyglot, whilst declining to let declensions and
irregularities disturb our cheerfulness.
Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to fluent speakers.
We meet every Thursday, 2pm-3pm, usually at leader's home in Bridlington.
The lessons are based on a BBC publication, which suggests situations such
as ordering food in a restaurant, buying in a supermarket, or booking a room
etc. The grammar is explained and examples given as they occur in these
situations.
The loss of hair, hearing, vision and teeth is inevitable. Learning another
language may prevent the loss of the marbles.
